I started Aspire because I'd seen what good leadership development could do — and how rarely organizations actually got it.
I'm Emma Collyer, founder of Aspire Executive Coaching. I work with organizations in Toronto and the GTA — and virtually across Ontario — to develop leaders who can perform, progress, and bring out the best in the people around them.
My approach is grounded in over a decade of coaching experience and a background in operations leadership, team development, and environmental management — working alongside architects, engineers, project managers, and people leaders at every level. I've led teams, navigated organizational complexity, and learned firsthand what it actually takes to develop people in high-pressure environments. That experience shapes everything I do.
What I've learned — and what the research consistently confirms — is that skills training alone rarely creates lasting leadership change. What shifts behaviour is deeper than that: it's the combination of honest self-awareness and a clear understanding of how organizations actually work. That's the foundation of the Aspire methodology, and it's what I bring into every engagement.
